How it works........
Placed outside the patient's room and activted once the patient arrives, the Patient Care Beacon signals Healthcare Team Members when a patient has gone 20, 30 or 45 minutes without being seen. Once a Healthcare Team Member visits the patient- the reset button is pushed thus setting in motion an assurance that the patient will be seen again in a timely manner.
It really is just that simple. To learn more about the Patient Care Beacon and how it can benefit your patients, employees and the overall performance of your organization- click here
Be the first in your area to solve the number one patient complaint- long patient wait times!!
If you have spent any time working in the health care profession then you know that long, impersonal wait times is indeed one of the biggest patient complaints. The Patient Care Beacon brings individual alerts to each and every passing member of the Healthcare Team to ensure that patients are continually provided for and that the staff is always avaliable to assist them. What more could an organization hope for? As healthcare providers our goal has always been to provide earnest, kind and compassionate personal attention to patients in our care. It aids our ability to treat them and it is a benefit to the patient's overall ability to recover from illness or injury. This is nothing new to us. However, as we experience staff shortages and increased patient census, our old model of how we provide this care has to adapt or we negatively impact our patient. The Patient Care Beacon was desiogned to address this very issue.
