Keith Andersen is a 22- year veteran Radiological Technician and has worked in hospitals in Texas, Illinois and Michigan.  He has worked in large trauma centers and small community hospitals and is uniquely qualified to give insight into what constitutes good patient care.  Keith came up with the idea of the Patient Care Beacon after observing frustrated and downright angry patients who had experienced very long, impersonal waiting periods while being cared for.  “I have seen patients literally pull the IV from their arm and leave the hospital because of the anger they felt from feeling ignored and forgotten about,” says Keith.

Keith took his idea to Roger Noonan, an electrical engineer.  Roger recommended that they get the advice of two other associates- Guy  Hedrick (electrical engineer) and James Romeo (financial advisor).  Keith explained the idea and his vision for the device.  The four immediately formed a partnership to bring the
Patient Care Beacon to fruition.
The driving force behind the effort was the overwhelming realization of how great a benefit this device could be to millions of patients in hospitals all over the world.  It quite simply addresses the very well known problem of horrible waiting periods in today’s emergency rooms.  “When Keith approached us with his idea for the Patient Care Beacon, we immediately jumped on board.  There wasn’t the slightest hesitation after realizing this was a great idea,” says Roger.

After much research and diligent design work by Guy and Roger, the
Patient Care Beacon was born.  “I owe these guys tremendous gratitude as they have designed a product that far exceeded my expectations,” says Keith.

And now begins the task of bringing the
Patient Care Beacon - to the world.
